Booking Appointments

We encourage all registered patients to request an appointment using our online booking portal.

After an appointment request is accepted you will receive a CONFIRMATION notice
PLEASE NOTE: If you do not receive a confirmation notice, your appointment has NOT been booked. If you are unsure if your appointment has been confirmed, please contact our office.

Cancellation/No Show Policy

24 hours notice must be provided or patients will be charged the following fees:
- Virtual appointment no show: $50
- In-person regular appointment late cancellation/no show: $50
- Long appointment/Complete physical late cancellation/no show: $150

Length: 10 minutes

Issues: simple, single concern, or follow-up.

Examination not required.

Length: 15 minutes

Issues: personal, 1 issue.

Examination required.

Length: 30 minutes

Issues: wellness, preventative, annual check-ups - kids/adults.

Physical examination.

Length: 30 minutes

Initial assessment (30min) in person.

Follow-ups (15 or 30min) virtual/clinic.

Please make a list to review with your physician. We will help you with prioritization of multiple/complex issues, and can determine a schedule and appointment types for best management.

In-person regular appointments are usually 15 minutes in length.
Best suited for concerns that require a physical examination or to review multiple concerns. Lengthy issues will require more than one visit in order to be able to provide the best care.

Alberta Health will not pay for seniors driver's medical exams or for work required driver's medicals.
Driver's Medicals are $125.00
Alberta Transportation requires senior driver's medicals at age 75, at age 80, and every 2yrs after age 80.
Driver's Medicals for patients age 74.5+ are booked in 2 parts
Part 1: All patients age 74.5+ must book an appointment with a Health Management Nurse at the Calgary Foothills Primary Care Network (for cognitive exam) before seeing their family doctor - Call: 587-774-9736 FIRST
Part 2: After booking an appointment with the Health Management Nurse, call our office to book part 2 of your Driver's Medical with your family physician

Long appointment (30 mins)
Wellness check-ups for children and preventative health/annual physicals for adults

Virtual appointments are 10 minutes in length.
Only ONE issue per visit.
If you need to review multiple concerns virtually, book multiple virtual appointments on different days or book an in-person appointment (preferred).

Mental health initial assessments require in-person, 30 minutes (long appointment).
Follow up appointments 15 minutes or 30 minutes depending on need.

A referral to one of our physicians for a specialty area consultation (IUD, skin lesion, migraine, bruxism, hyperhidrosis, etc) must be booked by calling the clinic.
